Science Outreach Community

The times when a researcher was seemingly locked away in a lab or library are long gone. The broader public needs correct information about science in order to be able to participate in the public debate in an informed way. The Science Outreach Office is an initiative set up by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Erasmushogeschool Brussel, that aims to bridge the gap between researchers and society. It does so by inspiring and supporting researchers in their communication, and by inviting the broader public, schools and young people to experience science with us. On this page, you will find an overview of all the possible ways you, as a researcher, professor or expert, can engage in public outreach.
